MONTH 1-5 Once the architect has developed their first set of plans, we begin a plan checking process with our clients specific needs in mind. We are looking at lifestyle flow, rooms locations, closet sizes…We collaborate closely with your Architect until the final house plan is approved.

MONTH 6: Foundation

  • After final Plan checks the builder will break ground, pour the foundation, and start framing
  • Shop and order all plumbing fixtures
  • NOW is the time to begin planting perimeter trees to give them time to grow to provide privacy from neighbors

MONTH 7: Framing Continues

  • We make frequent site visits in order to suggest changes to window openings and closets as needed

MONTH 8: Plumbing

  • All rough PLUMBING (in the wall) positions are determined and installed
  • HVAC, (heat and air) is run through the walls and ceilings, all vent positions are established

  • With framed openings in place WINDOW and DOOR types are selected and ordered

Kitchen and Bathroom Plans

  • Once the framing is in place we can begin to measure for kitchen and bathroom layouts

Series of Arches

  • Setting the style of the home in the FRAMING stage – in this case, a series of arches
  • Design ceiling framing details to incorporate all of the plumbing and HVAC that has been run

Electrical

  • Mark all outlets, switches and fixture positions

MONTH 9: Drywall Installed

  • Once all of the inside wall work is in place walls are covered with drywall

Cabinetry

  • Once drywall is place, the Kitchen and bathroom dimensions are confirmed and the elevations of the cabinetry and built-ins are drawn

WINDOWS and DOORS installed

Tile Material

  • Pre-shop samples for all bathrooms, kitchen and flooring tile
  • Bathroom Cabinet elevations will determine the final PLUMBING fixture positions

Molding

  • All molding styles are selected
  • Ceiling detail are confirmed with all wall molding selections incorporated
  • Window framing designed
  • Fireplace details and elevations are specified

SHOP for all decorative lighting fixtures

EXTERIOR: Siding, stone and material selections

MONTH 10: Design Details

  • Confirm all elevations and order TILE
  • Purchase all LIGHTING FIXTURES and PLUMBING accessories such as towel rods and toilet paper holders

MONTH 11

  • Follow Up on all deliveries of materials and design elements
  • Sort TILE as it arrives and meet with installers, daily
  • ELECTRICAL Fixtures installed
  • CABINTERY and CLOSET installation
  • Select final COUNTERTOP materials
  • MOLDING, Finish installation, Sand and prime

MONTH 12: Finishing Touches

  • CABINETRY painted and stained
  • COUNTERTOPS installed
  • Count and order cabinetry HARDWARE (Knobs and Pulls)
  • MIRRORS and molding frames installed
  • WOOD FLOORING confirmation and installation
  • CLOSET interiors and special details such as plate wracks and pantry pull outs

Paint Colors

  • We like to create combinations of warm and cool tones throughout a new home. This house is a short walk to the ocean and you can feel the breezes and enjoy the salty air. The colors are reminiscent of the sand and sea air.
